By popular demand, on February 16th the WWA is hosting  their first Ice Fishing Tournament out of the  Thirsty Turtle, Antioch Illinois on Chanel Lake. The payout for this event is a guaranteed minimum 85% payout. Participation for this event is capped at 60 teams. Registration is on a first come first serve basis and will be available on the website on Saturday January 4th. Registration will also be available by mail with form available from our website by download. Plan on registering early as a complete field of 60 teams is expected. Below are some of the details.

• Team Tournament (two person)
• Weight your 12 heaviest Bluegill
• Guaranteed minimum $2,000 cash payout to the  first place team.
• $125 per Team Entry
• WWA membership is required $35 per member for the 2014 season or $10 per event.
• Annual WWA Membership now Includes a full year subscription the Midwest Outdoors Magazine
• Tournament waters are Chanel Lake only
• Send-off at 7:30AM Fishing hours 8:00AM to 2:00PM
• Inspection, Sendoff and Weigh-In out of  Thirsty Turtle
